At MOP we only use 100% organic cotton T-shirts made by American Apparel. American Apparel shirts are the favorites around here for a variety of reasons. Mostly because they are made in the USA by workers who are paid fair wages, have access to health care and other important benefits often missing in the garment industry. We like to support companies that do the right thing. These shirts cost a little more. But are totally worth it.

Why buy organic cotton?

Not all cotton is created equal. Conventional cotton is not as soft as organic and also needs about 250 gallons of water to produce just one T-shirt. Each T-shirt made from 100% organic cotton saves 1/3 of a pound of synthetic fertilizers and pesticides, it's very Eco-friendly. Organic cotton is a much better quality product as well as much better in maintaining waste as far as production of T-shirts is concerned. Organic farming also has a global warming correlation; chemicals are manufactured and transported using fossil fuels, and organic farmers use less water. Organic T-shirts are so soft and comfortable, you'll want to wear it every day!
